In saferow, choose Help › Report a Problem…. Describe what happened, and add an address if you want a reply.
What it sends
Before anything is sent, the sheet shows the exact report. Besides your words, it can include:
- saferow’s version and update channel, and the chip;
- macOS’s version, the Mac’s model and its memory;
- the kinds of databases you use and how many connections, remote or over SSH;
- the last connection step that failed, and its plain sentence;
- which models do which job, and where they run;
- the last lines of saferow’s own log, cleaned.
What it never sends
Host names, user names, ports, database names, SQL or its values, keys, passwords, connection strings, your license, or file paths in your home folder (they become ~). The server refuses a report that looks like it holds a secret.
Nothing is sent until you press Send. A person reads every report, and if you gave an address, you get a note that it arrived.
Other ways
- The support form, or email support@saferow.app.
- A security problem, such as a way around the kernel: security@saferow.app. How to report one.
